King Midas Rising! King Midas World Entertainment Announces Innovative Branded Media Plan Supporting Publication of "THE SEVEN SINS(TM): The Tyrant(TM) Ascending"


LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - April 8, 2008) - King Midas World Entertainment, controlled by international investor Fabrizio Boccardi, has signed an agreement with Expanded Books for the production of a series of commercials to promote the book "THE SEVEN SINS: The Tyrant Ascending" by bestselling author Jon Land as part of a national media campaign that will include television, print and radio.

The book's hero, Michael Tiranno™, is loosely inspired by Mr. Boccardi and the book itself is envisioned by Mr. Boccardi as the cornerstone of the multi-media and gaming Brand, he is in the process of building.

"We are launching a franchise with 'THE SEVEN SINS: The Tyrant Ascending,'" Boccardi says on the eve of the book's June 10 publication date. "It is our expectation that Michael Tiranno, The Tyrant, will become in time, a household name worldwide."

Toward that end, Boccardi explains that "the unique and captivating radio and television spots will focus on marketing the book, but with a twist. The commercials will be branded in the style of King Midas World's core message to the public, present in all company's franchises beginning with The Tyrant."

The commercials will be timed to coincide with the book's publication date the week of Father's Day and will also be available King Midas World Entertainment's Website at KingMidasWorldEntertainment.com, which the company expects to launch by May 15, 2008.

Additionally, the company is in final negotiations with top Hollywood Studios and expects to announce a motion Picture deal based on "THE SEVEN SINS: The Tyrant Ascending" by the end of Summer, or sooner, as the beginning of a film franchise based on the bigger-than-life character of the Tyrant.

Boccardi expects The Tyrant to become King Midas World's Mickey Mouse, likening the anticipated interest generated in Michael Tiranno to how Disney's signature character became the launching pad on which that brand was built.

King Midas World, an independent affiliate while part of the same brand, is currently in the process of capitalizing itself, evaluating options available, to make strategic acquisitions primarily in the Hospitality and Gaming industry. Boccardi anticipates to have a major announcement regarding this by end of 2008.
