MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 15, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Wireless Ronin Technologies (Nasdaq:RNIN), a Minneapolis-based digital signage provider, has released its latest digital signage software, RoninCast Version 2.3 has installed this software in the latest application of RoninCast on Carnival Cruise Lines' newest ship, Carnival Freedom.

Carnival Cruise Lines has installed more than 20 displays into the Freedom's casino area to advertise upcoming events, showcase jackpot winners, and communicate jackpot totals in real-time. With continually updated information and content on various shipboard activities, Carnival will be able to take full advantage of many new software features available in RoninCast version 2.3.
Using real-time database integration, RoninCast can now offer the ability to display real-time progressive jackpot totals and trigger instantaneous system-wide winner celebration content when the jackpot has been won.

Version 2.3 has also been designed to support a wider range of monitors and display devices, maintain tighter security features, and offer a higher level of command recovery.
