Fresh foods and household essentials will be available from both major retailers, in addition to an assortment of product categories that are unique to Target, such as home goods, electronics, toys and other products. Shipt will launch same-day delivery in various markets in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota on the following dates:
- Aug. 21: Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Mason City and Waterloo, Iowa
- Aug. 23: Des Moines, Iowa; The Quad Cities in Illinois and Iowa; Sioux Falls, South Dakota
- Aug. 28: Rochester, Minnesota
This announcement gives nearly 720,000 households across four states access to products delivered by Shipt in as little as one hour. To celebrate the announcement, new Shipt members who sign up before Aug. 28 will receive an annual membership for $49 (regularly $99).
