FORTUNE and Great Place to Work® Name xMatters One of 2017's Best Medium Workplaces

The integration-driven collaboration platform is recognized by employees and analysts as One of the Best Medium Workplaces for second consecutive year

SAN RAMON, Calif., Oct. 23, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- xMatters (www.xmatters.com), the integration-driven collaboration platform that relays data between systems while engaging the right people, today announced they have been selected by FORTUNE and Great Place to Work as one of 2017’s Best Medium Workplaces. xMatters earned this credential based on extensive ratings provided by its employees in anonymous surveys.

This ranking considered 74,000 surveys from employees at hundreds of businesses in all sectors of the economy. xMatters earned a spot on this list based on co-workers’ assessment of the camaraderie, leadership, fairness, rewards and career opportunities enjoyed by all in their workplace.

“At xMatters, our growth wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our hardworking employees,” states Troy McAplin, CEO of xMatters. “We greatly value our staff and offer a variety of perks from our Personal Progression Program, that offers cash grants for personal or professional development, to our President's Club Trip that awards top performing employees with an all expense paid trip of a lifetime. We work hard to foster a supportive, fun and enriching work environment for all our employees across all our offices.”

Outstanding small and mid-sized employers – as identified by their employees – are substantially more likely to report work experiences linked to retention, innovation and good customer service, according to research by Great Place to Work. The winning organizations also are more likely than their peers to maintain a healthy organizational culture as they grow larger and more complex.

"The Best Small & Medium Workplaces are laying the groundwork for future success by building trust, cooperation and leadership credibility. All of these enhance business performance and create a positive environment for doing business,” said Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work.

The Best Small & Medium Workplaces is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE based on research into employee feedback from Great Place to Work-Certified™ organizations. xMatters also ranked #1 as a Best Workplace for Medium Technology Workplaces by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE in 2016.
