Arizona Lottery Releases FY13 Community Sponsorship RFP

Proposal Submission Deadline May 1, 2012


PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - Mar 21, 2012) - The Arizona Lottery released its Request for Proposals (RFP) today for fiscal year 2013 community sponsorships.

The Arizona Lottery focuses its support for beneficiaries under four main pillars: health and public welfare, economic development, education and environmental issues.

"Our mission is generating revenue for the state, but our passion is making Arizona a better place to live," said Karen Bach, assistant director of budget, products and communications of the Arizona Lottery. "Providing sponsorships for organizations that strengthen local communities and enrich the lives of our residents directly impacts the quality of life in Arizona."

The RFP is available on Arizona Lottery's website at http://www.arizonalottery.com/RFP_Procurement.html to download. Key dates relating to the RFP follow:

  • March 21 - Community sponsorship RFP release
  • March 28 - Vendor questions due to the Arizona Lottery procurement officer
  • April 3 - Pre-offer conference (not required)
  • May 1 - RFP closes

About the Arizona Lottery
The Arizona Lottery operates entirely from the revenue it generates through the sale of its products; it receives no General Fund dollars from the State.
