For 2011 FedEx Express implemented new service targets for their "Core Carriers" and Heartland Express rose to the top of the 4 carriers who reached these new objectives, thus cementing Heartland as the winner of both prestigious awards.
Heartland Express has held the top spot for on-time service to FedEx Express for 6 consecutive years (2006 – 2011) each time reaching service levels near perfect each year, every year. 2011 also marks the 4th year that Heartland Express has received the distinguished "Carrier of the Year" award for FedEx Express.
