Allegiant Announces Nonstop, Low-Cost Travel Service Between Owensboro and Las Vegas With Introductory $89.99* Fares


OWENSBORO, Ky., Aug. 4, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Allegiant (Nasdaq:ALGT) announces new, nonstop jet service between Owensboro, Ky., and Las Vegas will begin Oct. 14. The company, known for its exceptional travel deals, will introduce the new service to Owensboro residents with fares as low as $89.99* one way.

The new flights will operate twice weekly between Owensboro-Daviess Regional Airport (OWB) and McCarran International Airport (LAS), with service Monday and Friday. Flights will depart Owensboro at 12:20 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 2:10 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 6:10 a.m. arriving in Owensboro at 11:35 a.m. (all flight times are local). The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route.
