Cryptzone receives patent approval for its email encryption technology

Gothenburg 27th of October 2009 - The United States Patent and
Trademark Office (USPTO) have approved Cryptzone's patent application
regarding email encryption.

In the month of October, Cryptzone's patent application regarding
email encryption was approved in the United States. The application
was filed in September 2004 and after a few minor changes of the
original application, the patent was finally approved. The patent has
been approved in several other countries since a few years back.

"This means new business opportunities for us in the form of
outsourcing and a larger openness which makes it possible for other
developers to build solutions based on our platform", says Peter
Davin, CEO Cryptzone. "With this patent, we take a significant step
in meeting the openness which our partners and customers have long
wanted."

"After a long wait, we have finally received patent protection in the
United States for our technology for protection of information within
email communications. This is of course very satisfactory and a
recognition which we are very proud of", says Jeff Sherwood, VP
America's at Cryptzone. "Besides the already patented solutions,
Cryptzone have several global pending patent applications concerning
new technologies within information security".
