Life, Love, Marriage, and All That Happens in Between -- New Autobiographical Book Featured At 2009 Frankfurt International Book Fair -- Immerse in An Engaging Tale About Relationships

OLIVE BRANCH, Miss., June 22, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Contrary to popular belief, life is not always what we make it. Sometimes, life is what other people manipulate us into believing it is. Follow each unexpected turn of events in one Chameleon's life as she artfully -- and often humorously -- narrates her jailed co-existence with her husband, whom she has dubbed the "Warden," in the Tale Of The Chameleon. Written by the engaging award-winning author, Dezarae Dunsmuir, this seriously witty perspective on love and marriage describes her trip to hell and back, where she discovers she's surprisingly good company.

Lizardwoman's comatose chimney puffing lungs have recently been resurrected as she "sat in a room cluttered with what she had lately come to regard as the debris of her life." Though she has just received a jail-free card from the man who once had her heart pounding while he masqueraded as her husband but who had since revealed his true nature to be her Warden, the state of the union has left her deep in the abyss of chaos. Desperately seeking the answers that no one else could provide, she decides to record her thoughts, observations, and painful memories in a journal.

Thus begins the daily journey to the inevitable, hopefully to shed light on the who, what, when, where, and how that mysteriously faded with time. With each entry, the reader is introduced to colorful vignettes of Lizardwoman's past relationships and the timely appearance of the Warden into her young life. After several miles of sailing smoothly in uncharted waters, the journey suddenly veers towards rough seas and high winds. From then on, it continues to what Lizardwoman eventually writes off as a recipe for disaster.

"It's an autobiographical book I wrote for all the women and men who've been decimated by love," states Dunsmuir. "I am living proof that you must stay optimistic, even when the light at the end of the tunnel is usually a train." Strangely enough, this literary goldmine on life, love and marriage would apply to humans, too. Tale Of The Chameleon is one of two new books by this author featured at the 2009 Frankfurt International Book Fair. For more information on this engrossing narrative, log on to www.Xlibris.com.
