LOS ANGELES, June 3, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Englander & Associates announced today that Adam Englander has joined the strategic communications and public affairs firm as Vice President, where he will assist in advocacy and government relations, issues campaigns, media relations, crisis communications, and community relations. The Los Angeles Business Journal ranks Englander & Associates as the 8th largest Public Relations agency in Los Angeles County.

Englander comes from Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP, where he provided legal representation and advice to such clients as Related, Forest City, Castle & Cooke, Grubb & Ellis and MGM Mirage. In addition, Englander has extensive experience servicing residential, commercial, hospitality, resort and healthcare clients in Southern California and throughout the United States.
Adam Englander was also recently selected as a 2009 Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine.
Previously, Englander worked at Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP where he served as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Alhambra and provided legal representation for the cities of Santa Clarita, Banning, Hemet, Goleta and Industry, along with other public and private clients. In addition, Englander has assisted the Chairman of the Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency and served as Assistant Press Deputy for Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe. Englander has also participated in federal, state and local campaigns and is a founding board member of the Progress for a New Generation PAC.
Englander graduated from Cornell University with degrees in Government and Film Studies and received his Juris Doctorate from UCLA School of Law.
