Lysaker, 3 March 2009 Due to the system upgrades 23 March, members will be given access to PI administrator functions. In addition to provide existing functionality from the clearing desk application (CDA), PI offers extended functionality. This creates the need for an administrative user. Administrator rights will be configured by Nord Pool based on information supplied by the members. Members should communicate to Nord Pool, which existing CDA user should have access to the administrator functions. In case Nord Pool does not receive such information, no administrator rights will be configured. Functionality for existing users: The existing users in CDA will have the same read/write rights in PI. For example users with permission to report trades in CDA will also have this right in PI. Users who are authorized to distribute contracts in CDA (rectify in PI) will also be able to perform give-up and take-up in PI. In addition, the following new functionality will be standard for all existing users: - See closing prices - Change own password Unique functionality for GCM/DCM administrator: - Read/write access to all PI menus - Access to change/create user Edit account access and menu access - Access to set/change margin limit and perform margin simulation - Permission to change own password and password of other users within own organization - Clearing Information for settlement and trade information - Exercise menu to perform option exercise request and deny automatic request - It is possible to request for the option to suspend/resume own participant. Please note that this not only prevents OTC trades to be entered on your participant, but also suspend your participant in PowerCLICK. If you are suspended, the administrator will need to actively resume participant to be open for trading again. Please register one existing CDA user in your company within 9 March 2009 for administrator rights. Note that additional administrator rights can be created by the first administrator.
