Will the Children of Abraham Find Redemption? -- New Book Tells a Compelling Story of Redemption and the Failure to Redeem

GIBSONVILLE, N.C., Jan. 30, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Taking on a project concerning religion, in today's world, is an ambitious task. Author R.H. Martin readily takes on this challenge as he presents a controversial novel about redemption and the failure to redeem through Children of Abraham.

We are all Children of Abraham who share the same ancestry, the same history and the same God. Why then is there war, misunderstanding and killings everywhere? Why are people filled with revenge and hatred when there can be forgiveness and healing? How would we, our nations, and the world change if God made his presence undeniably known? In this entertaining and exciting story, we may find the answers as Martin explores a middle ground where everyone can meet equally.

With a host of larger-than-life characters, each plagued with deep character flaws like pride, greed, and hatred, you'll find yourself also baffled by the events in Children of Abraham. Mysterious messages begin to appear in the media which they first assume to be from a supreme hacker. But as they continue, a consensus grows that it may just be the Supreme Being. Christians, Catholics, Muslims, and Jews, the Children of Abraham, are all affected by the messages. The cultures differ -- yet one universal message emerges that unites them all.

If you knew that you would die today and saw the face of God and Love -- would you change? If you knew that you would be alone, knowing right from wrong -- would you change? The compelling story of Children of Abraham is unlike other books you have read before. Why? It can change you and the way you think.
