Northrop Grumman Awarded U.S. Department of the Interior IT Support Contract


HERNDON, Va., Jan. 26, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior has awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) a contract to maintain and support the information technology (IT) infrastructure for the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) 200 offices and more than 12,500 employees across the United States.

The contract has an estimated value of $56 million based upon a full performance of all anticipated task orders for the one base year and six one-year extensions.

Northrop Grumman is the prime contractor with subcontractors Isys Technologies, Arlington, Va; NuAxis, Vienna, Va.; Mindbank Technical, Reston, Va.; Applied Future Technologies, Wheat Ridge, Colo.; and Managed Business Solutions, Colorado Springs, Colo.
