Liz Forrest is a native Virginian who spent sixteen years in New York City as an actress, opera singer, writer and "other" before moving to the peaceful wilds of the Delaware Highlands of Pennsylvania in order to devote more time to writing. One reviewer has compared her style of historical fiction to Thomas Carlyle and Alexander Dumas. Besides having completed two novels and substantial work on a third and fourth, Forrest served as dramaturgist and script doctor for productions staged by various stage companies in both New York and Pennsylvania.
