Combination of Code Green CI-750 Appliance and Blue Coat ProxySG Appliances Prevent Data Loss, Optimize WAN Connectivity

SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - October 28, 2008) - Code Green Networks, the
leader in comprehensive data loss prevention solutions that can be deployed
quickly and cost-effectively, today announced that Enhanced Software
Products of Spokane, WA has deployed its CI-750 Content
Inspection Appliance to protect its network against data leakage, along
with the Blue Coat® ProxySG® secure appliance to block inappropriate,
malicious and unwanted inbound traffic and accelerate applications over the
Wide Area Network (WAN).
Enhanced Software Products (ESP) is a core data processor for credit
unions, handling data processing, storage, and other data center functions
for roughly 30 credit union customers across the United States. With a
mission to secure sensitive customer information and to provide fast and
secure access to that data for users around the country, ESP wanted a
solution that could be quickly deployed and would accurately filter
outbound content to protect against accidental loss via e-mail, web mail,
and other methods.
"We chose the Code Green and Blue Coat solutions because they represented
the best combination of features, ease of use, and value for our
environment," said Matt Lefler, vice president of Enhanced Software
Products. "We liked the plug-and-play deployment, the rich and highly
efficient policy creation tools, and the transparent support of our Windows
Server and SQL environment."
Code Green Networks' Content Inspection appliances combine content
inspection, policy creation and management, and e-mail encryption in one
unit, greatly simplifying deployment without sacrificing accuracy or
effectiveness. In the same manner, the Blue Coat ProxySG appliances
integrate inbound content filtering with WAN optimization. As a result, ESP
was able to deploy the entire solution within two days without impacting
its data center employees or its customers across the United States.
"Our Content Inspection appliances allow customers to deploy
enterprise-class data loss prevention capabilities with minimal time and
expense, while the accuracy of our content filtering technology reduces
false positives and administrative overhead," said Rod Murchison, vice
president of Marketing & Strategic Alliances at Code Green Networks. "With
our joint solution, we are finding a lot of interest in a combined solution
that significantly enhances security while speeding application access for
our customers in finance, health care, and other industries."
"The combination of Blue Coat and Code Green provides organizations with
the ability to improve the performance of applications across the
distributed network while preventing sensitive data, even encrypted data,
from leaving the network," said Bethany Mayer, senior vice president of
Worldwide Marketing at Blue Coat Systems. "As distributed enterprises seek
to optimize their networks to increase employee productivity and
competitiveness, this type of solution becomes increasingly important to
ensuring the integrity of the data and applications running across the
network."
