Release of a Voting Rights announcement

Julius Bär Holding AG, Zurich, Switzerland, has informed us on 21 October
2008 pursuant to sec. 21 para 1 WpHG that on 13 October 2008 its percentage
holding of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1, Bad
Neustadt a.d. Saale, Germany, crossed below the threshold of 5 % and
amounted to 4.995 % (equivalent to 5,179,139 voting rights) in relation to
the total number of voting rights of the issuer.

The voting rights in the amount of 4.995 % (equivalent to 5,179,139 voting
rights) are entirely attributable to Julius Bär Holding AG pursuant to sec.
22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 6 WpHG in connection with sec. 22 para. 1
sentence 2 WpHG.
