LISTING PROSPECTUS FOR SPONDA PLC'S EUR 130 MILLION UNSECURED AND SUBORDINATED
CAPITAL SECURITIES NOW AVAILABLE 

On 17 June 2008, Sponda Plc announced an issue of EUR 130 million in unsecured
subordinated capital securities (hybrid bond) that was directed to domestic
institutional investors. 

The Finnish Financial Supervision Authority approved the listing prospectus
relating to the listing of these capital securities yesterday, 23 September
2008. The listing prospectus is available in English as of the date of this
release on Sponda's Internet pages at
www.sponda.fi/www/In_english/Investors.iw3. 

Today, Sponda has submitted an application to OMX Nordic Exchange Helsinki Oy
for the admission of the capital securities to public trading. The capital
securities will be admitted to public trading on or about 26 September 2008.
