About the Author
As a young man, Douglas D. Hubbard ran a tugboat on Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. By his early sixties, he was a management consultant to the Jordanian government in the Middle East, and, as Mr. Hubbard himself has observed, "that's quite a stretch by anyone's standards."
