PANOSTAJA STRENGTHENS ITS ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS AREA WITH PURCHASE
OF KOSPA OY 

Panostaja Oyj today signed a deal to acquire the entire share capital of Kospa
Oy, the manufacturer of waste disposal equipment. The purchase means that
Panostaja will expand its business area specialising in environmental
technology based around the EcoSir Oy business operation, which it acquired on
2 May 2008. 

Kospa was established in 1987. Its core skills and know-how are waste
compactors, waste collection hoppers and waste transfer stations. The company's
turnover last financial year stood at around EUR 3 million and it had a staff
of 20. The company is based at Marttila. Kospa makes waste compactors for the
Nordic countries, Russia, the UK and the Far East. Exports account for about
one third of the company's turnover.
