Cybercom earns environmental certification

The Cybercom Sweden West operation now holds ISO 14001 certification.

Environmental issues were already a priority within the Cybercom Group, and its
operations comply with the Group's environmental policy.

In line with its strategy, Cybercom applied for environmental certification -
partly because customers are increasingly demanding it - particularly the
automotive industry.

“Our environmental certification is not just a business advantage; it's an
entirely natural decision for us as an employer,” says Håkan Fernström, director
of Automotive Solutions at Cybercom.

It's crucial for Cybercom as a company to take active responsibility in society;
this is not just significant in customer relationships,
it's equally essential for Cybercom in its role as an attractive employer.

“Working at a company that emphasises the environment and ethics as important
issues helps employees feel confidence and pride in their employer,” explains
Magnus Larsson, Cybercom Sweden West's quality manager.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards gained rapid
international acceptance and nearly all countries use them. Cybercom Sweden West
now has ISO 14001 (environment) certification. The operation received ISO 9001
(quality) certification in 1999.
