Peab constructs a deposit for Boliden

Peab has been commissioned to construct a new deposit for enriched sand at
Boliden, west of Skellefteå. Peab received the order from Boliden AB and the
value of the contract is about SEK 200 million.

The deposit area, called Hötjärnsmagasinet, is around 500 acres and it will be
surrounded by dams and roads. This will be the terminal storage place for
enriched sand from Boliden's enrichment works and it will be built to meet
stringent environmental demands. The storage area will be ready for use in
December 2009.

Peab is responsible for planning the project and the construction of the
facility.
