ANNOUNCEMENT PURSUANT TO THE SECURITIES ACT, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10

Alma Media Corporation has been informed that Oy Herttaässä Ab (trade
register number 0761658-8), a company controlled by Kai Mäkelä, has
today acquired 50 000 forward contracts related to Alma Media's
shares from Helsingin Mekaanikontalo Oy (trade register number
1076761-9). The trade is in accordance with the agreement announced
on 26 March 2008.

Pursuant to the Securities Act, Chapter 2, Section 10 we inform that
current holdings of Oy Herttaässä Ab in Alma Media are as follows:

Provided that the forward contracts will be converted into Alma Media
shares, the potential holding of Oy Herttaässä Ab:n would be 28.02%
(20,905,309 shares).

Pursuant to the Securities Act, Chapter 2, Section 10 we additionally
inform that the (potential) shareholding of Helsingin Mekaanikontalo
Oy has fell below 1/20 of share capital and voting rights.

Alma Media Corporation's (business ID 1944757-4) share capital is EUR
44,767,513.80 and it is divided into 74,612,523 shares. The company
has one series of shares. Each share entitles to one voting right.
The total number of voting rights is 74,612,523.
