Henry Chow Joins Heritage Bank of Commerce as Senior Vice President/Regional Manager


SAN JOSE, Calif., June 6, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Heritage Bank of Commerce, the operating bank of Heritage Commerce Corp (Nasdaq:HTBK), today announced that Henry Chow has joined its management team as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager in the Fremont office.

"Henry is a seasoned banker and a proven business development officer with a strong history of service in the Silicon Valley, and we are very excited to have him on board to serve our clients. Before joining Heritage Bank of Commerce, Chow was Senior Vice President and Business Development Officer for County Bank, where he helped establish that institutions' presence in the San Jose market. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Pinnacle Bank in Gilroy and Regional Credit Manager for Greater Bay Bank.

Chow earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in management at Saint Mary's College of California and is a guest lecturer for the University of Santa Clara's MBA program. He has also served as vice chairman of the loan committee for the San Jose City's Office of Economic Development and was the secretary for Lenders for Community Development.
