Component Changes Made to Dow Jones CASE Egypt Titans 20 Index


NEW YORK, May 9, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced component changes in the Dow Jones CASE Egypt Titans 20 Index.

Orascom Hotels and Development (Egypt, Hotels, ORHD.CI) will be deleted from the Dow Jones CASE Egypt Titans 20 Index and replaced by Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries Co. (Egypt, Chemicals, ABUK.CI).

Orascom Hotels and Development is being removed due to a plan to move its headquarters from Egypt to Switzerland via an exchange offer presented to shareholders to swap their shares for Orascom Development Holding shares, a new company listed on the SWX Swiss Exchange (SWX).

The changes in the Dow Jones CASE Egypt Titans 20 Index will be effective as of the open of trading on Wednesday, May 14, 2008.

The Dow Jones CASE Egypt Titans 20 Index measures the performance of 20 leading Egyptian stocks traded on the Cairo & Alexandria Stock Exchanges (CASE). The companies are ranked by free-float market capitalization, sales/revenue and net income.
