Acquisition of MJM Investigations Inc.
G4S, the world's leading international security solutions group, today
announces the acquisition of MJM Investigations Inc. (“MJM”) and certain
affiliated companies, the market leader in insurance fraud mitigation and claims
services, from Mr Michael J. Malone. Gross assets of the acquired companies are
US$16.2million.
Headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, and operational around the globe, MJM
provides surveillance services, a broad range of investigation services,
background screening, due diligence and risk management consultancy to insurers,
third party administrators, self-insured corporations and insurance defence law
firms around the world. MJM employs 374 people and annual sales in 2007 were
approximately US$45 million.
