Financial results 2007

Today the Supervisory Board of DONG Energy A/S has approved the company's
annual report for 2007. DONG Energy's financial results for 2007 were affected
by the fact that 2007 was the first year in which the acquired companies Elsam,
Energi E2, Nesa and the power activities from the City of Copenhagen and the
Municipality of Frederiksberg featured in full in DONG Energy's consolidated
financial statements.

• Revenue totalled DKK 41,625 million in 2007 versus DKK 36,554 million in 2006.
• EBITDA totalled DKK 9,606 million in 2007 versus DKK 8,950 million in 2006.
• Profit after tax for 2007 was DKK 3,259 million versus DKK 5,039 million in
2006.

The Supervisory Board will recommend at the Annual General Meeting that a
dividend of DKK 5 per share be paid for 2007, equivalent to DKK 1,469 million.
EBITDA and profit after tax for 2008 are expected to be on a par with 2007, in
line with the company's earlier profit outlook from 21 December 2007.

In connection with the publication of the annual report, a press meeting will
be held at Nesa Allé 1 in Gentofte at 01.00 pm CET.
