American Mold Guard Expands Mold Prevention Services to Chicago

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif., June 19, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- American Mold Guard, Inc. (Nasdaq:AMGI), the industry leader in mold prevention services, continues its U.S. expansion with the opening of a new region in Chicago that will focus on multi-and single-family residential construction. The Company named Chicago-based sales veteran Amy Volas as account manager to lead sales in the new operation.

"Amy brings nearly a decade of sales experience that will enable us to focus on new market expansion to increase sales revenue and develop long term client relationships," said Robert Bayer, Corporate Vice President of Sales for American Mold Guard."Her knowledge of the Chicago metro area was a key factor in our overall expansion strategy, specifically for multi-family construction."

Multi-family construction in downtown Chicago is on the rise, according to a recent report by Appraisal Research Counselors, a Chicago real estate consultancy. Developers have added 1,678 units to the market in 2006 with another 2,150 under construction. In addition, nearly 2,000 more units may get built this year. In other parts of Chicago, a number of multi-family buildings are also breaking ground this year.

American Mold Guard helps multi-family developers, single-family and custom builders differentiate themselves from their competition. Prior to the hanging of interior drywall, AMG ensures that all structural surfaces are free from mold and then applies their antimicrobial coating to protect the structure from future mold growth. Additionally, AMG performs a comprehensive inspection after treating a structure, and warrants against future mold contamination.

The AMG warranty is address-specific and transferable to the homeowner, helping mitigate liability for builders. Since most homeowners can no longer get mold coverage through their traditional property insurance, it is AMG's belief that the AMG warranty provides a financial incentive and assurance their home is protected.
