Pegasus Gaming Adds Live Gaming

PHOENIX, Feb. 9, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Pegasus Gaming Corp. (Pink Sheets:PGGG) (http://www.PegasusGaming.com ), a European Facing Turn Key I-gaming platform solution and e-commerce services provider, is pleased to announce the company has begun exploring the possibility of deploying Live-Dealer video technology for its casino game suite.

Traditionally, online casino game suites have been relying on RGN (Random Generating Numbers), numbers generated by the game server, for every card being displayed. This has led to some discussions from the players' perspective on the fairness of the RGN being used by each online gaming operator. With this in mind, Pegasus has begun exploring the possibility of launching a Live-Dealer video streaming technology whereby players can now play against a Live Dealer via video streaming to their computer monitors. Players can now see the physical cards being shuffled on the gaming table as well as being dealt from the card holder, as if they are playing at a physical casino. Due to the size of the video screen on the players' monitors, and to ensure the players can see the cards adequately, a bigger size deck of cards (6X12 inches) will also be used. After extensive research, the company found that the most popular game being played in the casinos in Europe is Baccarat. With that in mind, Pegasus will focus on deploying Baccarat initially to be followed by other popular games such as Black Jack, Roulette etc.

"The addition of this new Live Dealer Video Technology will set us apart from the other gaming solution providers in the region. We believe our licensees will enjoy this new product as it will help them create a new source of revenue," stated Pegasus Gaming President and CEO, David Cheng.
