COPENHAGEN, Denmark, July 07, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- In June 2005, the total number of passengers in Copenhagen Airport increased by 40,753 passengers (+2.1%) compared with June 2004.Breakdown of departing passengers: The number of locally departing passengers increased by 54,999 passengers (+8.4%). The number of transfer/transit passengers decreased by 32,058 passengers (-9.2%).
International passengers:
The number of scheduled international passengers increased by 23,946 passengers (+1.5%), whereas the number of international charter passengers increased by 18,138 (+10.9%). Consequently, the total number of international passengers increased by 41,954 passengers (+2.4%).
Domestic passengers:
The total number of domestic passengers decreased by 1,201 passengers (-0.8%) compared with June 2004.
