Independence Air, Base Technologies Help Bring Independence Day Celebration to American Troops Worldwide via USVETS.TV, www.USVETS.TV, with Special Salute to Returning Disabled War Vets

WASHINGTON, July 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- TV Worldwide, a fast-growing web-based global TV network, in cooperation with the National Park Service, will produce a live simulcast via satellite and the web of the Washington, D.C., 4th July Fireworks Celebration for the benefit of American military personnel and their families stationed overseas with a special salute to disabled Iraqi and Afghan war vets here at home.

The satellite and web broadcast begins at 8:30 PM (ET) on Monday, July 4, with a pre-event show, and is being produced in cooperation with the National Park Service and sponsored by Base Technologies, Inc., Operation Interdependence, the International Webcasting Association and TV Worldwide. As part of the support for this effort, Independence Air is donating flight ticket vouchers for families of those returning disabled Iraqi and Afghan vets who require transportation to rehabilitation facilities across the country. Miss Wheelchair America 2005, Juliette Rizzo, will co-host the event.

People around the world can tune to TV Worldwide's Internet TV channel for U.S. veterans, www.USVets.TV and www.tvworldwide.com to view our nation's brilliant fireworks display firsthand. The event is available for free to all media outlets by satellite at the coordinates listed below and will also be featured on TV Worldwide's Internet TV Channel for the community of people with disabilities, AT508.com, www.AT508.com .

The national fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:10 PM (ET), and will last roughly 21 minutes. The fireworks are choreographed to a simulcast audio program of patriotic music that will be provided by the National Park Service. The webcast will be produced from the Netherlands Carillon area across the Potomac River in Arlington, VA, allowing for a spectacular view of the U.S. Capitol, the Washington Monument, and the Lincoln Memorial.

"Just as we did last year, the TV Worldwide staff again takes pride in producing this event for Americans around the world via satellite and the web," commented Dave Gardy, Chairman and CEO of TVWorldwide.com. "We are thankful for the cooperation and assistance of the National Park Service and we are grateful that Independence Air and Base Technologies are supporting this broadcast to bring the Independence Day celebration from our nation's capital to the brave men and women deployed around the world protecting freedom and democracy. This year, we also want to highlight the special challenges faced by disabled U.S. vets returning from Iraqi and Afghanistan and their families while we salute their sacrifices."

"Base Technologies is excited to again be a sponsor of this worthy event webcast and demonstrate its commitment to America and its military personnel at this important time in our nation's history," stated Gary Nakamoto, CEO of Base Technologies, Inc.
