Identa Corp. Accepted to Export Promotion Program of Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute


JERUSALEM, Aug. 10, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Identa Corp. (Pink Sheets:IDTA) has been accepted to the Export Promotion Program of the Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute as part of the "Gamma Group."

Objective

To promote marketing efforts in specific markets or industries by encouraging marketing activity conducted jointly by several companies. The Marketing Promotion Fund assumes part of the financial risk to which the companies undertaking the joint activity are exposed. The Marketing Promotion Fund will consider the contribution of the consortium to the increase in international sales and will particularly assist with marketing plans related to products with high added value.

The Israel Export Institute will coordinate activities of the companies who are members of the consortium as they relate to the Fund. It will employ a professional expert in the field in which the consortium is active, for the purpose of its ongoing management. This person will be appointed by the members of the consortium, with the approval of the Export Institute and will be budgeted from the consortium account, if necessary.

The fund will provide assistance for the following marketing activities:



 - Information gathering
 - Advertising
 - Trade shows, conferences, product demonstrations (provided that
   total assistance does not exceed 30% of the budget)
 - International marketing trips
 - Services of the economic attache in the target market
 - Lease of offices/warehouses in the target market for marketing
   activity

Other activity

Rates of assistance:

The Institute will guarantee assistance amounting to 50% of the recognized expenses in the marketing plan. The remaining expenses in the marketing plan will be financed by the consortium members. It should be noted here that total assistance granted will be divided among the companies.

The benefits of the Gamma Group:



 A. Reputation (provided that the members offer unique knowledge
    and/or technology)
 B. Consolidation of marketing efforts
 C. External support - the Export Institute will finance 50% of
    marketing expenses
 D. Reduced expenses - through coordination among the consortium
    members

The consortium established within the framework described above is involved in the field of homeland security.

To date, after a selective screening process, 11 companies involved in homeland security have been accepted into this program.

Despite the short timeframe for organization, first efforts have already been made in several countries, including the United States through a company in Washington D.C. and in China.
