The European Commission accepts Hydro's sale of Flexible Packaging
Oslo(2003-02-25): The European Commission has decided not to oppose Alcan's acquisition of VAW Flexible Packaging from Norsk Hydro.
The parties to the transaction, that was announced on November 22, 2002, expect to be able to close the deal early in the second quarter of 2003.
