LOS ANGELES, Oct. 1, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- IPOdesktop.com, continuing its Internet radio series: "Defense and Homeland Security Applications Open New Markets for AdZone Research" (OTCBB:ADZR), today features the company's Chairman and CEO, Charles A. Cardona III.

An earlier interview with the CEO on the background of the company is available by clicking on the following link: http://biz.yahoo.com/pz/020904/31380.html

During the program, Cardona explains that, effective today, the company's headquarters are being relocated to a secured site in Calverton, Long Island, near by the company's former operations in Riverhead. He discusses the history of the site, which formerly was occupied by major defense contractor Northrop Grumman, and the memorable fighter aircraft that first took to the air from the site, notably the Navy's F-16 Tomcat. He also discusses how the secured facility was formerly used for top secret defense research and development, was part of the United States Navy's Naval Defense Technology Center, and was formerly owned by the Navy.

Today, the CEO notes, "in a very real sense, we are carrying on that mission by expanding our Global Defense Group, with its focus on identifying potential Internet-related threats not only to our Homeland Security but the world's as well." Moreover, the CEO said, the company is committed to developing other analytical threat assessment tools beyond those already in use in its Internet surveillance arsenal, working in concert with members of its highly experienced advisory board.

In the interview, Cardona notes that AdZone's sophisticated software enables it to monitor and track the Internet for virtually all types of activity. More than 500,000 sites are currently monitored, and this is scalable to enable the company to cover more than 30 million Web sites -- a major segment of the entire Internet.

Following the events of September 11, 2001, AdZone has also issued proposals related to Homeland Security and other related defense-based projects at both federal and state levels. In July, the company formed a strategic relationship with Raytheon (NYSE:RTN) in the form of a systems integrator agreement for Internet monitoring technology related to Homeland Security.
