ESPOO, Finland, Feb. 22, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) - TietoEnator's Processing & Network has concluded a Managed Service Provider (MSP) agreement with Peregrine Systems, an American software company specialized in infrastructure management. The agreement, which applies to the whole Business Area, enables TietoEnator to offer Peregrine software solutions within its own outsourcing services.
The agreement covers asset and inventory management solutions, which enable real-time collection and maintenance of data on a company's IT assets, and management of these assets throughout their lifetime. Identification, management and control of IT assets, and lifecycle monitoring of the entire IT infrastructure will assume considerably greater importance for businesses in the future.
The IT supplier of outsourcing services already has a strong base of customers for whom Peregrine can offer added value through efficient use of the IT infrastructure.
