Wolters Kluwer chooses NaviSite as managed application hosting provider for its North American operations

In addition, NaviSite will be providing the managed application infrastructure in support of WoltersKluwer's Internet portal strategies in North America. The web initiatives combine the content, tools,software and services of Wolters Kluwer's companies and other providers, creating valued verticaldestination sites for tax/accounting, human resources, legal, securities, financial services,healthcare, pharmaceutical and other professionals.
 
Wolters Kluwer consolidated its hosting services with NaviSite to provide its North Americancompanies with a simple point of application management and responsibility for their managedapplication hosting needs. Wolters Kluwer will be leveraging NaviSite's infrastructure that includes avariety of products and services such as dedicated Cisco routers, dedicated ArrowPoint loadbalancing Web switches, firewalls, Open Market Transact configuration, Unix clusters and NTclusters. This will enable individual Wolters Kluwer companies to obtain the specific services theyrequire, and take advantage of rapid deployment of services resulting from an existing infrastructure.Of equal importance, Wolters Kluwer will leverage a single integrated solution, and obtain the cost, performance, reporting and problem resolution management benefits derived from NaviSite's overallservice offerings.
