KEMP, Texas, May 18, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics LLC, has released an explosion proof signal LED light equipped with two indicators, a green arrow and a red X, ideal for use in wet locations and marine environments as an indicator lighting solution for industrial refueling stations, manufacturing facilities and more.
The EPL-TL-2X10W-C-GA.RX is an explosion proof signal light system complete with two explosion proof LED lamps, one with a green arrow and one with a red X. The 10-watt LED lamps are designed for use with weight switches, momentary push buttons and other customer provided equipment.
A green LED lamp on the left side illuminates an arrow signaling to move forward. A red LED lamp on the right side illuminates an "X", signaling to stop. The green LED is connected to a normally closed circuit, while the red is connected to a normally open circuit. This system is connected to customer provided pressure plates, such as weight stations and paint booths. When a vehicle or load is on the pressure plate, the circuit to the lamp is open which activates the red "X", signaling for the vehicle to stop. When the vehicle or load is moved off the sensor, the circuit closes which activates the green arrow, signaling for the vehicle to go.
The EPL-TL-2X10W-C-GA.RX LED lamps are housed in polyester powder coated copper free aluminum casting with a PSI hydrostatic pressure rating of 1490 pounds. The explosion proof lights carry T3C temperature ratings and feature a clear glass globe with colored LED lamps, as opposed to colored globes with low color incandescent. This setup provides total visibility and increased light output.
Line-in supply power is provided by 10' of 16 AWG SOOW cable with flying leads. Individual leads per lamp allow independent operation, making this unit ideal for fuel depots and manufacturing facilities where status indicators are necessary. The individual leads can also be connected to user provided terminal blocks or existing indicator systems for enhanced configuration capabilities. This explosion proof indicator light operates on 120-277V AC, or a low voltage option if desired.
