MEDIA ADVISORY: Launch of IEA's Oil 2018 market report on Monday, 5 March

The International Energy Agency will release Oil 2018, its latest market analysis and forecast report, on Monday 5 March 2018. The report provides a detailed analysis and five-year forecast to 2023 of global oil demand, supplies, refining, and stocks. 

This year, Oil 2018 examines a wide range of important issues and uncertainties, including among others: implications of the 2020 IMO marine fuel regulations for oil demand; the growth of the global petrochemicals sector; the rise of electrification in China's transport fleet; crude quality issues arising from the rapid increase in US production and investment needs in North American takeaway capacity.
