Copenhagen, 2014-08-11 15:47 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Attached to this announcement are the final liquidation financial statements and the interim report for the six months ended 30 June 2014 for Alm. Brand Formue A/S in liquidation. The company entered into liquidation on 18 March 2014.
The company generated a profit of DKK 21.3 million after tax in H1 2014, against a loss of DKK 2.9 million after tax in H1 2013.
The company will hold an extraordinary general meeting on 4 September 2014 for the purpose of approving the final liquidation financial statements and the interim report for the six months ended 30 June 2014 and passing a resolution to complete the liquidation of the company. As stated in the final liquidation financial statements and the interim report for the six months ended 30 June 2014, the liquidation proceeds are expected to amount to DKK 133.68 per share with a nominal value of DKK 10 (excluding own shares held by the company). This figure is in accordance with the company's previous guidance for liquidation proceeds of around DKK 132-134 per share with a nominal value of DKK 10 (excluding own shares held by the company). If the shareholders in general meeting resolve to complete the liquidation of the company, the company's Class B shares will be delisted from NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen A/S upon registration of the dissolution of the company with the Danish Business Authority.
