MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - Aug 9, 2012) - FirstBank Florida is proud to announce that Elisa Robles is joining the bank as VP Branch Manager for its newest branch opening in Hialeah this September.
A native of Cuba, Ms. Robles came to the US in 1968 and moved to Hialeah shortly thereafter. After moving to Florida, Ms. Robles was introduced to banking as a teller for Flagship Bank, then moved into bank operations, eventually becoming a branch manager for Caribank, now Citibank. As a part of the FirstBank Florida team, Ms. Robles will be VP Branch Manager and will spearhead the new branch's opening.
Ms. Robles is active in the Hialeah community, holding positions with various organizations and committees including the City of Hialeah Scholarship Fund, Business Advisory Board, Cultural Affairs Board, Logia Hijas de Acacia, La Federacion de Masones Cubanos en el Exilio, Logia Mariana Grajales, and the Florida High School For Accelerated Learning Chapter Schools.
