The Board of Directors of VIEL & Cie announces the resignation of Georges Pauget as Chairman of the Board and Director of the company. The Board will be proposing the appointment of Patrick Combes, CEO, as the new Chairman at its next meeting.
Mr. Pauget joined the Board of VIEL & Cie in June 2010. The development of activities at his company, Economie, Finance & Stratégie, no longer allows him to fully meet his duties within the VIEL Group.
VIEL & Cie would like to thank Mr Pauget warmly for the quality of his contribution and commitment to the Group during this period and will continue to work closely with him under a consulting contract with his company.
VIEL & Cie comprises three core businesses in the financial sector: Compagnie Financière Tradition, an interdealer broker with a presence in 27 countries, Bourse Direct, a major player in the online trading sector in France, and a 40% equity accounted stake in SwissLife Banque, present in the private banking sector in France.
