Europe & Asia Targeted by World Renowned Concert Pianist and Master Teacher with Free Piano Lessons Online for Talented Students

BOSTON, Nov. 23, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- This summer the Bottazzi International Musical Society (BIMS) launched its project to bring free one-on-one internet piano instruction to talented students. Created by renowned concert pianist and co-founder of the Bottazzi School of Music in Manhasset, NY, Dr. Ana Maria Trenchi Bottazzi with her husband, Dr. Bruno Giulio Bottazzi, conductor, international music judge and teacher, they actively target gifted students. This non-profit charitable foundation's mission is to identify and assist young, talented pianists worldwide and provide superb musical instruction and performance opportunities for individuals who cannot afford the best teachers. Master teachers interface with talented students in weekly internet instruction which would otherwise be unavailable to them geographically and financially. BIMS has chosen the regions of Europe and Asia as their primary target.

The Bottazzis wish to assure that their passion for the value of music education, their expertise in teaching piano, motivating students to strive for excellence in technique and sensitivity, and creating opportunities for students to perform and compete in international competitions will continue into the future. BIMS is poised to target specific areas including Italy, France, Japan, China and Hong Kong.

Madame Bottazzi has affection for Europe and Asia. She studied piano in Paris with Germaine Pinault, Yves Nat and Nadia Boulanger, and at France's Paris Conservatoire. Her family history leads back through Argentina to Italy. She remarks, "I performed many times in these countries. A common thread in their cultures is their passion for learning. After evaluating students, acceptance into this no-fee program is based on student aptitude and willingness to work hard to improve the beauty, musicality and sensitivity of piano technique."

This global internet-instruction program is taught by award-winning musicians, pianists and teachers with PhD and DMA degrees, many of whom are former students of the Bottazzis. Dr. Bottazzi, a Steinway Artist who holds three master's degrees and two doctorates, one from the Julliard School of Music, states, "Our mission is to bring top-quality weekly piano instruction with a focus on the art of piano technique in the school of the old masters to underprivileged talented  students, even in remote regions worldwide, completely free of charge, through the use of the internet."

BIMS' goals include providing the finest musical instruction to talented and gifted musicians, creating local competitions in regions worldwide to identify budding talent and to motivate young musicians to grow and develop, participating in recitals, presenting solo recitals, opportunities for performance with orchestras, and premiering the music of young talented composers worldwide. BIMS, a 501c3 charitable foundation, welcomes tax-deductible donations to assist them in their mission of finding and helping underprivileged talented and gifted musicians worldwide.
