Increased inflow of orders in excess of 58 MSEK for NovaCast Technologies during second quarter

Increased inflow of orders in excess of 58 MSEK for NovaCast
Technologies during second quarter

The increase in inflow of orders during the second quarter that was
announced in the March report has been realized. Number of deals as well
as order size have been good since May, even though there is still
certain price pressure in the market. Approximately 15% of the order
inflow of approximately 58 MSEK consists of products to the wind power
industry, remaining orders are mainly from the automotive industry.
Order intake during the first quarter was 7 MSEK.

Just recently NovaCast received a large order from Volvo Car Corporation
valued at approximately 30 MSEK. Total inflow of orders for the group
during the second quarter was in excess of 58 MSEK, compared to inflow
of orders of 7 MSEK during the first quarter.

Further, NovaCast's subsidiary Camito AB has among others received an
order for three die sets, which is seven tools for immediate production
start. The order is from a German customer who is an expansive supplier
to leading automotive groups, among others Volkswagen, Audi,
Mercedes-Benz and Porsche.

Running orders for die shoe castings as well as castings to the wind
power industry have been received by Camito Technology Center.

The turn in inflow of orders took place at NovaCast during May and
conditions are good for a continued good inflow of orders during the
third quarter. This favorable order situation is expected to influence
production and production utilization starting in the third quarter.
