2009 Graduating Class is First to Feel Impact of MLK Hospital Closure

 WHAT:   The 25th Annual Commencement Ceremony of Charles Drew
         University of Medicine and Science (CDU) will feature keynote
         address by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who will also
         receive an honorary degree from CDU.

 WHO:    Dr. Keith Norris, who heads Charles Drew University's Office
         of the President, will preside over the ceremonies.

 WHEN:   Saturday, June 6, 2009, beginning at 10:00 a.m. -- Media
         requested by 9:30 a.m.

 WHERE:  On the campus lawn of Charles Drew University, adjacent to
         Cobb Building, 1731 East 120th Street, Los Angeles,
         California 90059. Free parking (designated for media) on
         120th Street, off of Wilmington Avenue, two blocks from the
         105 Freeway exit.

         Directions from Los Angeles: Take the 110 or 405 Freeway
         south, to the 105 Freeway east (toward Norwalk). Exit
         Wilmington Avenue, turn right to 120th Street, and turn right
         to parking.
