JetBlue to Resume Flights to/from Houston Hobby On Monday, Sept. 15


NEW YORK, Sept. 14, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq:JBLU) will resume service to and from Houston Hobby Airport on Monday, Sept. 15. The airline's first departure to Houston will be Flight 625 scheduled to depart New York's JFK at 11:00 a.m. and scheduled to arrive in Houston at 1:53 p.m. The airline's first departure from Houston will be Flight 626 scheduled to depart at 3:20 p.m. for JFK. (All times local.)

The welfare of the airline's customers and crewmembers is top priority. With the resumption of JetBlue flights to and from Houston, the airline encourages customers to travel safely on the way to and from the airport. Due to road conditions post Hurricane Ike, it is recommended customers allow additional travel time to get to the airport.

In addition, any customers driving to or from Houston Hobby Airport through Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008 during the curfew hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. are encouraged to have on hand a printed itinerary or boarding pass as proof of travel.
