Karen Hana was named as Senior Vice President of Resort Operations. Ms. Hana, a graduate of The Hague School of Hotel Management in the Netherlands, has more than 20 years of industry experience, most recently as Hotel Manager at the Princess Port de Plaisance in St. Maarten.
Ms. Hana's other industry experience includes various management assignments at The Royal Resorts Group, a chain of Five Star timeshare resorts in the Caribbean, the Flamingo Beach Resort in St. Maarten, Mullet Bay Resort & Casino in St. Maarten, Club Antigua -- Jolly Harbour Marina, Melia Cancun Hotel, Conrad Hilton Cancun and various Hyatt Resorts in the Caribbean.
Named on the timeshare sales and marketing executive team are: Terry Calacino, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing; Robert Watson, Senior Vice President -- Operations; Garritt Watson, Vice President -- Latin American Sales; Adriana Rodriguez, Assistant Vice President -- Latin American Operations; and Sabina Abelis, Assistant Vice President -- Special Events.
The Aruban Resort & Casino at Eagle Beach (The Aruban), recently acquired by KL International, includes a 362-room timeshare and resort hotel consisting of two five-story buildings and two four-story buildings, a 48,000 square foot permanent casino, a restaurant (currently operating as a temporary casino) and recreational amenities.
In addition to completely renovating and upgrading each condominium, The Aruban is redesigning and renovating the permanent casino into a state-of-the-art gaming, entertainment, restaurant and convention facility. When completed the casino will be one of the largest in the Caribbean. In addition, The Aruban is selling more than 15,000 timeshare interests.
