WorldWater & Power Corp. Elevates Larry L. Crawford and Douglas L. Washington to Executive Vice President Positions


PENNINGTON, N.J., Jan. 25, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTCBB:WWAT), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today announced that VP-Chief Financial Officer Larry L. Crawford and VP-Global Business Development Douglas L. Washington have been promoted to Executive Vice Presidents of the corporation.

Mr. Crawford joined the company in July 2006. Mr. Washington has served in various capacities with the company since 2000 when he became a consultant for marketing.

In making the announcement, Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman of the Company, said, "Because our company is growing so rapidly, the CFO and Marketing/Sales positions are also growing quickly and require highest level management. Larry and Doug bring that capability to our company."

Prior to joining WorldWater, Mr. Washington spent several years at Johnson & Johnson, serving as Worldwide Director of New Business Development, Consumer Sector, and Director of Business Development, Advanced Materials Company. He obtained his B.Sc. from the University of Texas, Austin, and later attended the Kellogg School of Business and the Wharton School of Business.

Before WorldWater, Mr. Crawford served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Escala Group, Inc., a position held since 2001. He was previously Chief Financial Officer of Arzee Holdings, Inc., from 1996 to 2001, and Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Talon Inc., a subsidiary of Coats Viyella PLC., from 1987 to 1996. Mr. Crawford is a certified public accountant and received his B.A. from Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. from the Lubin School of Business of Pace University.
