MPI is the Message Passing Interface that programmers use to make a program run on thousands of processors and share data and messages among them. With the release of HP-MPI v2.2.5, their software applications can now run on Linux-based clusters built with the industry's highest performing interconnect -- InfiniPath HCAs from QLogic.

HP MPI: Streamlining Communications for Scalable Execution
HP-MPI enables multi-protocol execution of MPI-based high-performance computing applications on clusters.
