morEnergy to Implement ScaleGuard Technology

CORUNNA, Ontario, Sept. 27, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Megola Inc. (OTCBB:MGOA), a leading environmental solution provider in physical water treatment, air purification, microbiological control, and wastewater treatment, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a trial phase with morEnergy (http://www.bancmor.com), headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, to make Megola's ScaleGuard physical water treatment technology available to their dealer network.

"We envision this relationship as being much like our relationship with BuyMax LLC in that we are tapping into an established dealer network of plumbing and HVAC professionals. Both Megola and morEnergy are anticipating a positive response to Megola's water treatment products, both from a cost and quality standpoint, from the 90+ morEnergy dealers spread across Ontario," comments Joel Gardner, CEO of Megola Inc. "This is also timed well with the re-tooling of our website, which was launched last week, as it allows us to support and manage the growth of our dealer and distributor network through a secure portal environment," continues Gardner.

About Physical Water Treatment

Megola's ScaleGuard family of devices uses a closed-coil system that enables the induction of strong magnetic fields that are able to penetrate any pipe material and carry the patented, digitally-generated, pulse-modulated signals into the water. The resulting highly-penetrative induced magnetic field is used as a carrier for low-voltage (virtual) and high-frequency (pulse modulated) signals that can be modified (programmed) to take into account such parameters as water hardness, pipe material, pipe diameter, temperature, water flow, system water capacity, and so on. This allows the ScaleGuard system to be highly efficient and effective in treating scale problems in a variety of water conditions. In all, the ScaleGuard system has eight program frequency settings and eight power settings -- a total of 64 combinations.

About the Hard Water Market

Hard water is present in approximately 80% of North American households. Due to environmental issues, a growing number of communities in North America are banning the use of traditional salt softeners. This creates a powerful market opportunity for Megola and its revolutionary, cost-effective and environmentally-friendly ScaleGuard system. In the U.S. alone, the corrosion and scale-inhibitors industry, combined with the softener industry, is worth $737 million, and estimated to grow to $775 million by 2007. The U.S. water treatment chemical market is projected to grow at an average annual rate of 4.1%, reaching more than $2.7 billion by 2007.
