Megola Inc.'s Enhanced Distributor Program Already Showing Benefits

Expands Distributorships into Utah and Texas

CORUNNA, Ontario, July 21, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Megola Inc. (OTCBB:MGOA), a leading environmental solution provider in physical water treatment, microbiological control, wastewater treatment and air purification, announced that its enhanced distributor program has already seen excellent progress within the states of Utah and Texas.

"We have already seen sales and success stories from our new distributors in Utah and Texas. With the increasing legislations banning the use of Salt Softeners (Senate Bill 1006: http://www.watertechonline.com/article.asp?IndexID=5221006) in North America, these companies are offering our ScaleGuard units as the alternative solution for hard water problems that people in their regions face. They are growing their customer bases daily," states Dennis Davies, Distribution Manager at Megola.

Under the terms of the Distributor program, Megola will provide all necessary training and product support for their Physical Water Treatment and Air Purification divisions which will enable new distributors access to immediate penetration into all the industries. Megola is also in the process of having a new web site developed which will offer 24/7 support to its distributors by providing them secure and private access to product documentation, marketing material and technical information.

"A Megola distributor based in Utah, a state with extremely hard water with up to 25 grains of hardness, has already installed 40 units since entering our program. They forecast continued success as the state has a population of over 2.3 million people which includes over 1 million households and numerous commercial and industrial applications. They are finding that people are eager to invest in technology to replace their salt water softeners," continues Davies.

"A Texas distributor has had several successful trial installations come to fruition and is expecting the same start up success. Texas has a population of over 22 million people and upwards of 10 million households with hard water levels reaching well over 20 grains of hardness. He is excited at the prospect of experiencing exponential growth in his sales stream. These are but a couple of examples of the vastness of the physical water treatment market in the U.S. alone, where anything over 10 grains per gallon is classified as hard water," adds Davies.

About Hard Water

Hard water, and the scale formation it causes, is a problem that affects 85% of the North American population. Scale wastes an enormous amount of energy and reduces the lifetime of any equipment that uses water. The build-up of scale has become a multi-billion dollar worldwide problem in virtually every industry using water in its daily operations. Megola has developed a revolutionary, cost-effective and environmentally-friendly approach to solve the hard water problems unlike traditional solutions such as salt-based water softeners or chemical treatments.
