Megola Announces New Product Trials

CORUNNA, Ontario, May 23, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Megola Inc. (OTCBB:MGOA), a leading environmental solution provider in physical water treatment, microbiological control, wastewater treatment and air purification, announced that it will begin several new product trials over the upcoming months.

Megola will test the "IonClear System", which is an electronic, non-chemical means to disinfect and treat water fouled with contaminants such as bacteria and algae. Trials will take place at an oil field in Northern China as well as a community swimming pool and an industrial cooling water system in Ontario. The IonClear system eliminates the need for conventional biocides and algaecides through the use of copper ionization technology.

Megola will be testing a Surface Disinfection System (SDS) at a grocery store located in Southwestern Ontario. By using ozonated water to destroy the bacteria that contribute to the decomposition of produce, this disinfection system will increase produce quality and shelf life. This same system will also be used to disinfect the meat handling area during regular cleanup, eliminating the need and use of conventional chemical treatments.

Megola will begin a trial of its UltraPur ozone water treatment systems at a Northern California dairy farm. Two systems will be installed to improve the palatability of the drinking water for a herd of 750 dairy cows. In addition to destroying microbial contamination, these systems will remove iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide, which are contaminants that contribute to the poor quality of the water and a decrease in milk production.

"As Megola's distribution network grows, many new environmental issues are brought to our attention. In response to this demand, Megola continues to research, develop and test technology that will assist in solving these environmental problems," says Joel Gardner, Chief Executive Officer of Megola Inc.

Since going public in 2003, Megola (http://www.megola.com) has been attracting ever increasing amounts of interest from a variety of industries. The company is in the process of greatly expanding both the scope of its offerings and its reach throughout the global marketplace. Megola believes it can significantly boost its revenues through the continuance of this new business model.
